Advent wreath pre-Christmas fire
In the evening of December 22, 2021, a fire broke out in the living room of a three-room apartment in the Vsetín district. At the time of the fire, the underage daughter of the owner of the apartment was in the room with her friend. After the fire was extinguished, the investigator found, through a detailed investigation, that it was caused by the lit candles of an Advent wreath that was placed on the TV table, and thus there was a crime fire source. Damage to property was estimated at more than 1 million CZK.
